Craft Fest is held the 3rd weekend of June and November. Show hours are: Friday 9am -5pm, Saturday 9 am - 4pm. It is a juried show, open to vendors who hand craft their items. No commercial, retail, manufactured or re-sell items are eligible. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING to the public. Drawings for free gifts every hour, donated by participating vendors. (It is not mandatory that vendors participate). The Arts and Crafts Association sponsors a drawing for vendors at the close of each show.
Set-up for each show is on the Thursday, prior to the show opening on Friday. Set-up hours are 11:00am - 5:30pm. Clean up is Saturday, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. All vendors must vacate the Fairgrounds by 6:00 pm.
Craft Fest is an indoor show, the facility is handicapped accessible, heat/air-conditioned (as weather dictates) 2 restroom facilities are in the building. It is a SMOKE FREE facility. A full kitchen is provided serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages to vendors and the public.
We have over 85 booth spaces, (limit 2 spaces per vendor), booth space is 10' wide and 8' deep, all booths have at least 10' aisle exposure. Booths rent for $85.00 each. Electrical outlets (limited to first 55 requesting vendors) are available for use during the show @ $7.50 per receptacle . 8' tables (limited to first 60 requesting vendors) are available @ $5.00/table. We ask that you limit two rented tables per booth. You may supply additional tables as needed. All display material is the responsibility of the vendor. All tables must be draped in a professional manner. (Preferably to the floor.) Packing materials should be "out of sight" during show hours.
The state of Arkansas requires collection of sales tax from each vendor. Forms will be supplied with your vendor packet to report your sales and submit your sales taxes collected, we will collect these at the end of the show and mail them for you. If you have an Arkansas State Tax # you may file on your own.
Only food items that are SEALED (home canned) including jams, jellies, salsas, relishes, pickles and vinegar's/oils will be accepted.
Applications that are accepted will receive confirmation approximately 30 days of acceptance, via e-mail. If an e-mail address is not provided please include a SASE with your application, otherwise you will not receive confirmation. New applicants must provide at least 3 photos of the items they handcraft to be sold with their application, via e-mail to mhcraftfest@gmail.com or text to 870-232-2113. These photos will be presented to the jury for consideration. Entry fees will only be refunded if a written cancellation notice is received 30 days prior to the show.
